About Hickory Mennonite Church
Hickory Mennonite Church is a group of contemporary believers that wants to demonstrate what it means to live out the claims of Jesus Christ in our daily lives. We gather for times of worship, fellowship, work and play, but we know that it is in the day to day experiences of life that we experience the life of our Lord and make Him known to those around us.
Hickory Mennonite Church was established in 1957 as an outgrowth of the Mountain View Mennonite Church, Newton, NC. As we celebrated our 50 year Jubilee last year, we were reminded of God’s faithfullness in the past and have pledged ourselves to seeking His direction for us as we pursue a new vision for the next period of time.
We invite all who will to come with us on this adventure in Christian living.
